BREONNA TAYLOR
Breonna Taylor was a trained and certified EMT and first responder. She was also a certified nursing assistant, and put in hours in the ER.
She is remembered as a sweet and caring soul by those closest to her - earning her the nickname 'Breezy' for her carefree attitude and quick wit.
Her friends remarked that Breonna "was excited about becoming a nurse, buying a house, getting married, starting a family, and continuing her love for shoes, cars, bananas, and Fruity Pebbles cereal." She wanted to dance to “Everything” by Mary J. Blige at her wedding.
1993 - 2020
Breonna was killed by police in May 2020.
Among others, she leaves behind her mother Tamika Palmer, her sister Ju’Niyah Palmer, her cousin Preonia Flakes, and her cousin Katrina Curry.
