The Vashon Remembrance Project would like to acknowledge that Vashon-Maury Island is the ancestral land of the sx̌ʷəbabs Coast Salish Native People, the first people of Vashon Island. This land was their home long before Euro-American voyagers and settlers came and displaced them. This is their traditional home and their historical relationship with the land continues today. We honor the island itself and the sx̌ʷəbabs people past and present.

The Vashon Remembrance Project does not accept monetary donations. Any that are collected beyond our control are donated anonymously to King County Equity Now or The Potlatch Fund.

VRP strongly encourages donating to these organizations.

Please support local BIPOC-owned businesses and artists.

Thank you for remembering.
