AYIANA JONES
Aiyana Jones' was born on July 20, 2002, to Charles Jones and Dominika Stanley in Detroit, Michigan.
According to her father, her favorite color was pink. She had three brothers and three half-brothers - truly a princess. She attended Trix Elementary, a five mile drive out-of-the-way because she enjoyed the school more than the closer elementary schools.
2002 - 2010
Aiyana was killed by SWAT police in 2010.
Aiyana's casket was taken to the Trinity Cemetery by a white horse-drawn carriage - the same carriage that had carried Rosa Parks to nearby Woodlawn Cemetery five years earlier.
