MICHAEL BROWN
1996 - 2014
Michael Brown had graduated from Normandy High School in 2014. According to his friends and family, Michael was passionate about music, and would often offhandedly rap about what he was doing and things going on his life. He was an avid gamer, and played XBOX and Playstation with his friends. He was also a sports fan, and loved to play football.
Michael Brown was killed by police in Ferguson, MO in 2014. He was to start Vatterot College two days later.
President Barack Obama announced the federal government would spend $75 million on body cameras for law enforcement officers, as one of the measures taken in response to Michael's shooting.
"I would like the memory of Michael brown to be a happy one. He left an afterglow of smiles when life was done. He leaves an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy and loving times, and bright and sunny days He'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories he left behind when life was done."
